Stan Buddenbohm won OHLG at the Nats in 2001 with a 30" folder. He gave the
model to his inspiration, the great Bill(ious) Gieskieng of Denver,
Colorado-flapper and folder pioneer of the 1960's-present. As last report
Bill still did not have the nerve to throw it.

 

I have a pic somewhere of the model if anyone is interested.

    For indoor, folders are not allowed but I do not
believe there is currently anything in the rule book
that does not allow folders for outdoor HLG. If I can
find the time I will have one at the outdoor NATS this
year.
