I got a lot of static from making this suggestion before but here it is again. If you have a good working relationship with the site management and if you have their permission and if you can get access to the air handlers, you can turn them off with the circuit breaker that must be on the unit. The unit doesn't care what the computer is telling it if it isn't receiving any electrical power!

  This may not apply to all areas but here in Oklahoma sites are very hard to come by. One of the problems is the number of potential sites where the air handlers can' be turned off for one reason or another. I have seen more than once where a site looked great except for that problem. I was told that the computer that controls the system for the building was in another state!
