Everything sounded too "Free and Easy" until I attempted the transfer to Groups.io. The deal is, you can BUILD a group for free, and it continues free if under 1G storage, but for Groups.io to copy and migrate an existing Yahoo Group, it's this:
"For the transfer, we ask that you sign up for the Premium Yearly plan (you can downgrade to free after a year if you wish.")
Interesting language, "...we ask that you..."
Another bulletin that just appeared recently on the "transfer your Yahoo Group" instruction page:"Also note that it appears that appears that most Photos sections are currently having an outage and it isn't known if they'll be restored prior to the deadline."
The deadline the bulletin is referring to is Dec. 14, not Oct 21.
The Premium Yearly is $110.
