2019 Indoor Nats - Public Comment Period

In response to a few complaints your Indoor Nats committee is
considering minor changes to the flying schedule.

See attached for the schedule as it currently stands. For reference
daylight hours in Eagar in late May are approximately 6am-8pm. Currently
there are three late flying nights scheduled until 10 pm which is about
2 hours after twilight.

The school district has said we cannot use the stadium lights. Should we
end flying at dusk on 6/30-6/1 and add yellow hours elsewhere? Should we
stick with night flying and extend the yellow and blue windows even
later, like midnight or 1 am? This is entirely possible since we will
have the keys to the Dome. Should we add a few hours of official flying
to the afternoon of 6/29? That is also our entirely possible, but the
Dome won't be available prior to 6/29 at 4pm. More generally, does the
allocation of flying time for each color look about right given the
responses to our Fall 2018 event survey (note the number in parentheses
next to each event)?

Now, we need your well-reasoned feedback. The public comment period open
from 1/19 and lasts until through Saturday 1/26. This is your chance to
make your feelings known. Comments must be in writing and addressed to
any of the committee members (listed below). Commentary on social media
or email lists will not be considered. Your comments must be addressed
to a committee member privately or as a group. The Committee will
discuss all feedback received the week of 1/27 and announce any schedule
changes.
