This sort of pump will pull 24” easily.
Is what I use normally for my stuff, like Leo’s mold.
For a hot box, you can use a cooler.
Temp controllers are common now- any tungsten filament light bulb makes an excellent heat source. Ceramic bulb holder and extension cord.
3-4mil plastic and cheap caulk for a seal and you have a great cheap vacuum bag. Use the cheapest felt you can find for breather cloth, or even paper towels.
