Gary, I have absolutely no hopes that SO will use LPP rules. What I am suggesting is that we try to bring indoor to middle and high schools as something totally separate from SO. The students from neighboring schools would then compete against one another in LPP the same way they would in track, for example. Basically follow the varsity sport model for indoor flying.

That is most likely little more than a dream. To organize something like that even at the local level, without the support of an institution like SO would be quite a thing.

I do advise an after school aeromodeling club though. Perhaps I could talk to teachers at some of the other schools to se if I could get some of them on board. A goal for next school year perhaps.
