I also forgot to include this in my previous messages. This is in
regards to the second proposal (IFF 19-02) that demotes 10 entries or
less events at the Nats.

From the AMA General Rules top of page 5:*
"The rules specifically identified as supplemental or provisional do not
qualify as “official” model aircraft regulations of the Academy of Model
Aero**nautics. They may not, therefore, be included as official events
in AMA’s annual National Model**Aeromodeling Championships."*

This means that any provisional event may *not* be flown officially at
the NATS.  Since the criteria of the IFF 19-02 proposal is based on the
number of entries at the Nats, if an official AMA event gets low entry
at the Nats resulting in its demotion to  "provisional" event status, by
definition, that provisional event now can *not* be flown officially at
the Nats. Since it cannot be flown officially it cannot have official
entries, so that will automatically result in the events deletion under
that proposal.

While on the topic of provisional events. At last years Indoor Nats, the
P-18 event was listed on the AMA official entry form. Since the P-18
event is a provisional event, it can only be listed on the unofficial
entry form. Whomever is on the Nats Indoor committee needs to make the
AMA aware of this error and correct it for the 2018 Indoor section of
the Nats forms.
