I decided to try a physically larger scale with a larger load cell in it
for at home weighing. Just got this in the mail today.

Price from Banggood was much better than other sites (about half the
price of Amazon). It came with a 230 V wall adapter instead of 120V,
fortunately I have a 9V wall adapter so plugging it in and letting it
sit for some time then will play with it some. It is a plastic case, so
wont help the static issue but digits are nice and big and the pan is
much bigger.
