Nope. Each one is put up against a piece of steel and marked with a sharpie before pressing into the rotor.
I de-wired the reed switch on three counter modules and ran jumpers from them to an old tried-and-true 7111 counter and it displayed one count per turn as it should. This pointed to defective counters rather than the switches.
Now I've just heard from the most recent recipient that his counts up okay but double counts on the windback. This points to the switch.
I have three built and ready to ship but they can't go 'til this is resolved (they all double count).
