Thanks for trying. I thought that it would be expensive but did not want
to discourage you or anyone else from trying.

One year at the Mini-Dome in Johnson City, AMA funded taking down and
replacing the banners. I seem to remember $1300 to do that. Probably
John Kagan was the key person and would know.

The Mini-Dome is still used for football practice and an occasional
game. A new outdoor football stadium has been completed. Basketball
practice is in the dome but not in the center, but an occasional game is
played there. Most basketball games are held in a Johnson City facility.

The guy in charge at the dome wants to keep the dome ready for
occasional basketball games and football games as well is track meets
and other sports as well as practice for many sports.

We learned to adapt to the scoreboard by putting the scorer's table on
that side. However, all the banners and especially the row of basketball
lights just East of the louvered center section make indoor contests
unlikely there. The West side basketball lights are over the track and
much less of a problem. The basketball lights are asymmetrically placed
since the BB court is West of center as you have undoubtedly guessed by now.
