Definitely not in the spirit of the rules, but it meets the letter for sure. I'll be a good little boy and not go down that road, but the rules really need to be rewritten because some poor beginner is going to fall prey to that at some point.
For indoor embryo, the weights of the airframes are getting so low (less than 4 grams) that you really have to build your own prop to be competitive. For outdoor embryo, you need a big prop (7" minimum), and without serious modifications, a plastic prop is not competitive (7-8" Peck props scraped down to 2 grams are excellent), or you need to do a good job of carving a balsa prop in the 8-10" range.
