There are some contrary opinions about this subject. For my flying which
almost always involves backing off a considerable number of turns I use the
same motor until it breaks.

For f1d an acquaintance with a remarkable amount of success also uses the
same motor for successive flights and has at least one record set that way.

A lot depends on winding technique and break in technique. I don't consider
myself to be an expert on either.
