What happens to your FAI ID number if you allow your membership to lapse? I didn't renew my NAA card this year since there's not chance I'll be needing it until 2018 assuming that I even get on the team then. It would really stink to have to cross out your number written on that motorstick, mainly because of the accusations which might emerge.
