I don't want to dive too deep into this subject, but I am considering
cutting the contest to 4 days in 2018. I've spoken to management at the
Kibbie Dome, and the cost difference is enough to matter. At this point
I'm considering all options, and I'll do whatever is necessary to keep the
contest alive. That might mean making unpopular compromises. None of this
matters for 2017 because the contest is going forward as always with a
regular 5 day schedule.
