So about 3.4 ounces.

As I said before, it could be built lighter, cut outs in the ribs (or less ribs), lighter tail surfaces, cover only one side on the tail. Use thinner cross-sections on the fuse. At a certain point, you'd need to go to film covering, which might not be a terrible idea after the humidity at the NATS. All doable.
