VP Construction Questions

I have some questions for those building vp hubs for F1D, I have been making old style Cezar Banks style hubs but would like to upgrade.

Should I use .012" ID hypodermic tubing for the prop shaft bearing or a size slightly larger (to reduce friction)? I have noticed many people use hypodermic tubing instead of aluminum bearings and was not sure which sizes to get. I use .012" for the prop shaft.

Also, what type of epoxy should i use to glue the carbon actuator to the prop shaft? I have been using JB weld but it is not very solid and gets loose for me.
