This is already true of every FAI event including F1D. Indoor contest
board members have no input on these rules, and the AMA only gets a single
vote that is usually overruled by European member countries.

Nothing in the current Wright Stuff rules prevents someone from using a
simple plastic prop. One nice thing is a person could start with a plastic
prop, and later swap it for a much better prop they build themselves
without the need to build a whole new model for a different event.

Several Wright Stuff kits already exist including classpacks.

Wright stuff is already part of Science Olympiad, and it's taught in many
schools across the country.
