I haven't built the DD, but did build a cub with some students back in the day. I was not impressed with it. I was impressed with the DD that Mike's son was flying over the weekend. I was also impressed with the smile on his, and just about everyone else's face who saw it fly. It looks a great indoor fun fly and intro model. My almost 5 year old daughter wants to build a model airplane, and I am going to start her with this one. After seeing it fly, it just makes sense.
