Vladimir,

If you do some searching, it's possible to find inexpensive fiberglass
fishing poles that have a taper that's close enough to work. That's what
I've been using for my longer booms where the Harlan form won't work. I've
found that the form doesn't need to be 100% perfect as long as you
accurately cut the blank.
