My "amen " is to Chuck's comment. Thin skin and too vivid an imagination can get out of hand. In spite of newly developing political norms, indoor remains a gentle pursuit.

 The conversation about attracting new potential enthusiasts had run its course and needed a breather. I'll make an attempt to revive it by suggesting that an emphasis on attracting youth might better be directed to "almost older people". Notice I didn't say "guys". Youth are headed elsewhere. Indoor, except for a highly perceptive few can be no more than a nudge to a kid, a possibility. But for an older person, faced with the promise having a life time partner constantly at their elbow, a hobby that promises occasional escape and an alternative to a bar has great potential.
