I think you're missing a bet by not looking for sponsorship. Aviation
industry companies are actually desperate to find opportunities to look
good and $6,000 for the P.R. is peanuts.
I put up an exhibit in the Low Library Rotunda at Columbia on indoor. It
was a great NYC success and was sponsored by Rolls Royce jet engines
division, to the tune of $1,000 in 1981. It took a a phone call and a 15
minute presentation to get the money to pay for graphic services for
the exhibit. RR were credited with a small card in each display case.
Why not the "GE" or "Northrop-Grumman" Kibbe Dome Meet(s)?
