That is why I bought a Leeson stripper which I love; I got tired of trapezioidal cuts from my Oppegard. I drilled and tapped a couple of holes in both, actually, and fastened them to a small piece of hardwood and then clamped that down. Rubber lube on your hands and holding an expensive stripper is not a good plan.
