The problem is larger than just the US CIAM representative(s) and US Indoor community (keep in mind that there are Indoor participants from many countries on this list). The issue is with taking into account input from the world-wide Indoor community.

The effort that you put into the previous rule change is one of the few things that worked properly.

The disparity between the resulting vote and the opinions of the majority of people I spoke with at the World Championships demonstrates the representation gap. I suspect that the issues you list are factors for other countries as well.

We need to collectively demand better representation and process improvements, or we will surely be saddled with more decisions that do not necessarily reflect the general opinion.
