For those in the US, this may be a questionable option, although I've some have been using commercially produce hubs already. For fliers elsewhere, here is a new VP hub designed for F1R/35 cm. The one in this photo is the prototype--newer ones are as light as 33 mg if you opt for gluing your spars directly to the wire stubs. It is carbon construction with a .008" stainless steel torsion shaft. I've got a fair amount of time on these new hubs and they have tested well on models up to 500 mg (complete with prop). I do not recommend them for models higher than 550 mg because sufficient preload may not be possible.
The pitch limits are adjustable by bending the wire stops, and preload is adjustable via traditional nylon screw. Screw adjusters for pitch can be installed in lieu of the wire stops, but with a 5 mg weight penalty and $5 extra charge. A screwdriver for the screws is included with each order, free of charge.
