Or an F1L. Try making it to 1.3 or 1.4 grams first, then move down to weight.
Second on the Eidolon suggestion. I'd suggest a couple of changes for 2015 rules.
Make the prop to hook distance 6.5-7", and use thicker wood for the stub.
For a first model, use 0.014-0.015" wood for the fuse, no lighter than 5# at first.
You want it robust at first to gain some experience.
Do you know the material(s) sources? I think only Nick Aikman is cutting balsa now.
