As for the rubber I have already a bid for the whole lot at $ 42 per ounce. Assuming that the buyer has no issues in lowering the quantity by 2 ounces I would have to charge you the same price. The sticky point is that this would have to be wraped up way before Mike Kirda’s tests are completed (the sample would take about 10 days to arrive) as the other bidder is presenting an unconditional bid.
Let me know if I should present your case to the current higher bidder before the clossing deadline at 12:00 tonight, central time.
