I am in the process of disposing hobby stuff acumulated during the last 30 years. If you look in
Aircraft - Sailplanes (FS/W) in the classifieds section at RC Groups, where you can check my trader rating, I have already dispossed off about 12 airplanes in storage in Bethel Connecticut. I am in Mexico now but on September 5th I’ll make a final trip to Connecticut to close the storage contract that I opened in 1994 when I moved to Mexico.
During my upcoming visit I like to ship to buyers in the USA some items that may be of interest to the indoor community since, while living in Mexico, I got the indoor bug the high point of which was a flying session at Lakehurst on a July 4th, about 10-12 years ago, as invited by Rob Romash. If my memory serves me well, in addition to Rob, Fred Tellier, Allan Cohen and Max Zaluska were present. While Allan flew a .5 grams mini-stick, among others, Max was trying to brake a helicopter record. As for me, I flew an EZB Hobby Shopper.
Since I never built F1D, and I don´t anticipate doing it, I have the following items for sale:
· - One unopened new roll of Y2K2.
· - One opened roll of Y2K2. Without actually measuring it to avoid handling/disturbing this very delicate material I estimate that 2/3 of the original roll is still there. If I don´t sell this I’ll be happy to keep it for a potential 300mg EZB.
· -Two unopened new rolls of Y2K.
In addition:
· -13 ¼ OZ of October 1997 contest Tan II. Received from the UK in exchange for a new roll of Y2K2 on 07/06/2004.
· - Brand new Ray Harlan’s rubber Super-Strip. The friend I bought this for never caugh the indoor bug.
· -0.004” boron filaments 24 inches long in tube.
· -0.0056” boron filaments 24 inches long in tube.
· -Tungsten w31-CS in a roll 0.025mm. Length 200.
Since I have not sold anything to this group I am not sure what is the right protocol. In addition, I have no experience placing images here to show the state and looks to a reasonable extent. One easy alternative for me is to place add(s) in RC Groups but I am not sure if this group would welcome the idea. One advantage is that since my trader rating would be on the line, this may assure would be buyers that I’ll do my best to comply with my end of the bargain. I am ready for PayPal payments.
