I sent in $245 for USIC registration and got back a check from AMA for $45

I had the same question when I looked at the entry forms. I spoke with Yolanda Jones at the AMA (800-435-9262, extension 261) about this as I was also confused. By the way, you can call Yolanda and register by phone using a credit card.
I am glad many are entering late. The AMA needs the extra late fee money (ha ha).
