I have a couple of red square tipped props of unknown pedigree. The 2 grams is the whole assembly, prop, hook and nylon bushing. I just disassembled the heavier one with the .032 hook (.020 ought to do). It weighs 1.89 and the blades are in the neighborhood of .027-.028 thick. I'll work that down some more.
I think some fat can come off the wing mounts as well.
Has anybody come up with a damage resistant landing gear leg? Titanium would put the weight right back up there again.
