My one solid motorstick for F1D came out to about 400 mg...no bracing of any kind. That's my new weight budget for the motorstick, so for what it's worth, solid sticks aren't an unreasonable idea.
  
 Booms will be happy around 200 mg. Can be made solid at that weight, but boron will be needed, and you'll have to "fly" the stab at the proper title angle with warps. A rolled boom would therefore be easier in the long run. They'll need boron...as much of it as you can put on there and not go over 200 mg. Same for stub booms.
