Thanks Bob, for bringing Charlie's passing to our attention. I am a late arrival to the Chicago area, so I missed out on a lot of the flying that used to go on around here. There is an article on Charlie Sotich in the Chicago Reader describing his miniature kite flying hobby, Building those sure looks a lot like building the lightest indoor airplanes
