Re: Proposal to add High Altitude indoor records

My question for this proposal is how or why is 5000 ft the value picked?
Also what about a person who lives at 4500 feet and is flying on a 90F
day his density altitude (which is what really matters) would be higher
than a person at 5000 ft on a cold day so to me the density altitude
would make more sense for such a proposal. However I can see letting
such a proposal pass leading to additional people wanting something they
want. I have access to several sites that are not good for records as
they have bad ceilings, hanging lights and girders. So can we have
separate records for non smooth ceilings sites? How about records for
those who do not have good rubber etc. Seems like a slippery slope to
start on.
