The LTA (Lighter Than Air) series of hangers were the same design but built with local wood supplies, so dimensions of the structural materials varied. One or two were constructed of metal but the rest were wood. All were about the same height and width, but the doors could be different. For example, the two that were in Houma, LA had a single giant clamshell door at each end instead of sliding doors.

As far as I know the only ones with windows in the roof are at Santa Ana (Tustin). The hangars at Moffett, Tillamook and Lakehurst have no windows and are dark. I don't know the present status of the hangars at Moffett, but they were unflyable due to wires and lights hanging from the ceiling down to about 40' when I was there in 2000.

For more information on the LTA hangers see the book American Airship Bases and Facilities by James Schock.
