I just read the Wikipedia page. It sounds like they were all built around
the same time for coastal defense. They originally built 17 hangars, but
only 7 are left. I know one of the hangars at Tillamook burned down quite
a few years ago, but I don't know what happened to the rest. The Lakehurst
hangars were part of the same program.
