That all depends on whether the winner is flying a model he bought
and flew with BOM in place. Your college degree may ultimately be
more important in your life but the championship
title/award/certificate would be just as compromised. Both
"achievements" are on the same slipery slope.

I personally have always considered F1D to be the ultimate test of
success for both building and flying indoor duration models and
believe that it is the complete equation that is so compelling. I
find no interest in only half the solution. At that point it just
comes down to who can best play with toy planes they have bought.
