Thus in the US. Here in Finland we have a healthy participation in F1M,
and only a few fliers in F1D. I keep trying to push the F1M lot towards
F1D, and they keep claiming that they do not want to even try F1D, as it
is so extensively difficult, and persist on flying F1M as it is
"manageable". I then claim that in Romania even 12 year old kids fly
F1D, and they look back to me as if I was insane....
So my point is that it all boils down to culture, and tradition.
