White glue and wood glue are comparably very ridged when they dry. My guess
is that natural bending may lead to tearing along the dihedral break. I
know white glue flakes off OS film when dry. I'm not sure about wood glue.
I use 3M77 for gluing film to balsa. I use non-sticky saliva for dihedral
breaks. I have also used what's left in the jar when I clean my brushes in
naphtha to glue the dihedral breaks. That works just as well.
