I have flown into Pullman...quite a few years ago. It's a very small airport and only handles small commuter planes, i.e, the model box is going into the baggage hold. But then that is likely to be true when flying into Spokane. Horizon (Alaska) used to fly into Pullman from Seattle.
 

 When I did it the fare was higher than flying into Spokane. When I flew there you could rent cars but they were more expensive too.
 

 Spokane is the way to go.
