Sanding round prop spars

Just a thought, make a jig by gluing some fine sandpaper on a straight
block, glue that at right angle to another block - that may be all you need.

Chuck a length of square balsa in a small drill and feed it along the
sandpaper while turning with it "backed up" against the right angle
piece. Should work.
