Until this past USIC I have always sorted my rubber by width then chose
the width needed to make the length and weight I wanted so the end
result is the same as the length and weight are controlled. Now I also
add to my bulk rubber cuts a gram/inch value so it makes it much easier
for me see what precut rubber will get me what I want. In my spreadsheet
I calculate a "nominal" size so I know about where to set my rubber
cutter to get what I want. However I have not gotten to the point yet
where I have a feel for grams/inch like I do with width. If you tell me
.035" I understand that right away, if you tell me its weight in gr/in I
have to convert it. So I record both values :-)
