I'd like to propose something. The nearby Party City will fill 36" balloons for $2. (You should have seen the kids eyes bug out when they saw my balloon filled up in the store... Priceless.)
I'd be happy to bring down a few packages of balloons - the local Qualatex wholesaler is nearby. I could likely bring six or eight filled balloons to the event per trip. It is only a few miles from the Armory.
The cost is one heck of a lot less and all we would need is top-off from the tank.
I'll also followup with AirGas tomorrow to see what I can do for a tank.
