Re: F1N (indoor glider) now eligible a recognized FAI event for World Champs
I think the glider guys should organize and put on an unofficial Continental or World Championship, perhaps to demonstrate the possibility of such an event. Hold this contest in a great site with great supporting facilities. This is not meant to be antagonistic to the FAI. As usual, if there is a "proof of concept", there may be a next step.
Jim, will there be hand launch glider in the outdoor world championship, or are you referring to F1A?
On another line of thinking, is there resistance to HLG's because it is also an athletic event? Would CLG be a better international event?
