FWIW, On the toy I'm building now, I mounted a pair of tissue tubes on a
piece of 1/8" square balsa being careful to make them square to the
stick. Then I put the wing posts in the tubes and let the assy hold the
posts squareand in line while gluing to the wing. Then I cut a couple
triangles from scrap and glue the from the spars to the posts.
Probably crude but it works.
On the stretched DD I use that tubes and stick thing held on the motor
stick with dental bands to mount the wing -lets me move the wing back
and forth.
