Hi Leo.

I can explain it. John and I had a conversation via e-mail and I was suggesting to him that he write an article on for the F1D newbie on things to concentrate on that would help to bring them to the next level.

John basically countered that it wasn't possible, that there were too many variables involved and that these would differ from person to person. He then explained that in Japan there are schools that teach people how to tell the difference between sexes in baby chicks. A newbie is paired with an experienced teacher and basically guesses - and the teacher corrects them as necessary. After two weeks, the student has mastered it. He theorized that F1D is kind of like this - you need the experience to understand what just looks right when it flies. You just know.

And if you are a newbie without a mentor nearby to help you out...

Regards.
