Mark,

This may not be the safest way to it, but when I have had beading, I let
the boron drag over finger as it comes out of the hypo tubing to wipe off
excess glue. After the first inch or so, my finger has enough wet glue on
it to keep from wiping too much glue off the boron. I tend to use fairly
thin Ambroid.
