Int Stick

I don't think it is close to the same thing (at least not to me). Int
Stick can be built to ~500mg and we still have unlimited rubber which
appeals to me as I don't like limited rubber weight events. I do agree
it use to be the stepping stone to F1D but the F1D rules change to 55cm
and 1.2 gram altered the F1D design too much for Int Stick to be a good
stepping stone anymore. I would think though, that those who enjoy the
~300mg EZBs would be drawn to the Int Stick event as it allows the same
no weight restriction so rewards light building but also solves the
annoying EZB issues of tucking wings and too weak of a motorstick since
you can brace these items on an Int Stick. When I first read Kangs "EZB
Challenge" where he talked about how he wanted to explore the flying
potential of the EZB without having to struggle with the problems
associated with weak motorsticks etc due to the rules, I thought why not
just build an Int Stick? An Int Stick at 500 mg is like an EZB at 270 mg
but stronger and they will do great time with no VP required. Last USIC
I attended I got over 36 minutes with a fixed prop and never got over
~90 feet. So they have lots of flight potential that I think is being
overlooked. Those who do not fly Int Stick do you have a reason why?
Any F1D builder should be able to make one easy. Make USIC 2013 Int
Stick year!
