Regardless of how the poll is worded Nick made a point that I've been
meaning to bring up. It seems like the question of the legality of
buying pre-built VP hubs is the driving force behind this discussion. If
we make a change in the AMA rules to prohibit bought hubs then it is
only going to affect competition in the USA. So if bought hubs are NOT
made illegal under FAI rules then our F1D team would POSSIBLY have a
disadvantage in the World Champs - especially if some game changing
development came along in VP hubs where the only practical way to get
one would be to buy it.

There aren't very many AMA events where VP's are normally used, so the
largest effect of prohibiting bought hubs would be on F1D, where our
rules would be at odds with FAI.
