That was probably a bulk price per dozen, not correctly marked. Unwrapped wire guitar strings can be 75c by mail up to $2.15 in store. StringsbyMail.com is one source, but I'll try Kangs place to get some .006". The smallest guitar size has been .007" at SBM, appearing in a set used on a Requinto Tiple (South American instrument).
