One other (illegal?) rear steer is pushing on the rear of the stab of a plane that is floundering badly with the nose up (especially just after launch), perhaps with a tail slide just beginning. Raising the tail slightly or increasing the speed just a bit levels the plane and saves the flight. I have seen this done many times with F1D's and real penny planes.
