Greetings from a Lurker in Maryland regarding use of Cole Field House

My son and I fly with the DC Maxecuters. Steve Fujikawa, from our group, took third in Peanut at the last Nationals. My son and I stalled out at A6 scale, we have no interest in Boron and are incompetent with our balsa stripper. We have flown at, and arranged flying for the Maxecuters at the University of Maryland's Cole Field House several times over the last couple of years. The dome is not as high as the Kibbie Dome, and the floor space is only basketball court sized. I don't think you could set any indoor records there. I will forward some photos from home.

I have forwarded my correspondence with Mr. Klier, the new head of Cole Recreational Services regarding renting Cole for a Tuesday-Sunday flying event. $5,000 seems to be in the ballpark. I would now like to turn over arrangements to whoever is really in charge of making arrangements for contests to see if Cole might be at least a temporary substitute site for the Nats.
